I spent a week being a leader at camp this summer and I learned a lot. We were served all our meals through the cafeteria much like a traditional school setting and I learned some very surprising lessons. Us parents want our kids to have the energy they need to get through a long day at camp or school and sometimes packaged foods and sugar can seem like an easy solution. Feeding our kids the right foods so they can grow and develop in the best possible way can feel tricky. Listen in as I talk about the different lessons I learned after spending a week at camp eating cafeteria food and how this has an effect on their mind, body, behavior, and attention. Could these 8 lessons be surprising to you too?
